- Maintain and organize resident medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Manage admissions, discharges, record retention, and document filing.
- Conduct chart audits and support survey readiness efforts.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to ensure documentation is complete and timely.
- Serve as the facility's go-to expert for all things medical records. What We're Looking For
- Experience in medical records, health information management, or long-term care preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare documentation requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
