Director - IS Administration

Job Details Support Services | Miamisburg | Full Time | Days Responsibilities & Requirements The Application Services Director curates the ongoing development and support of the Kettering Health application portfolio. These application services enable both clinical workflows as well as business workflows. Notable in this list is the oversight of Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) team(s). The director works collaboratively with the Information Systems (IS) senior leadership team to translate KH and IS strategy into tactical action. The director is a key liaison to IS customers. Building solid, collaborative relationships with stakeholders is required.

• Accountable for strategic development and execution of application services to KH.
• Collaborate with KH Executives and internal stakeholders to ensure Application Services meets KH strategic directives
• ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) responsibilities include the ongoing delivery of services to KH and its guests.
• Optimize the KH application portfolio through applying the IS Framework.
• Development and deployment of the IS Management System, which includes the IS Framework. Of note,
• Champion the ongoing development and adoption of the agile framework across IS and KH.
• Develop and deploy assigned strategies in collaboration with KH, IS, and key stakeholders
• Accountable for the operational performance of Application Services teams against the Balanced Scorecard which includes measures for financial, business processes, services, customer satisfaction, learning and growth.
• Enable the benchmarking of IS capabilities so that areas for improvement can be seen
• Ensure the establishment of internal performance measures and evaluate them over time

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and/or equivalent management experience required. Master's degree preferred.
• Broad understanding of health care environment as well as the systems necessary to create and maintain a strategic position in community
• Familiarity with current developments in advanced information technologies.
• Experience with a variety of different enterprise/business applications and technologies
• Demonstrated operational oversight including ability to utilize data for decision making
• Epic experience is preferred
• ITILv3 or higher certification
• Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification or similar industry certification Overview Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
