A Chief Medical Officer directs clinical programs and staff at a medical practice, clinic, hospital, or other clinical setting. Works closely with staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and other accreditation standards. Evaluates developments in medical care and makes recommendations for new practices and procedures. Advises CEO and medical teams on matters impacting patient care.

Our client in the Southern Oregon area is seeking a Hospitalist Medical Director with a focus on Internal Medicine. There will be clinical and medical responsibilities. This is a growing non-profit hospital. The schedule allows flexibility with their block schedule. You will see an average of 18-20 patients per shift. They welcome MD and DO board eligible IM and FP physicians. H-1B visa holders can be supported. Responsibilities of the
