As a Medical Director, you will oversee clinical protocols, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and drive initiatives that enhance healthcare quality and patient outcomes. Your expertise will shape the direction of our medical services while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices. Duties Establish, maintain, and update clinical protocols, standing orders, and evidence-based pathways (e.g., testosterone therapy, weight management, metabolic health). Conduct periodic chart reviews and clinical audits to ensure quality and consistency. Serve as the escalation point for complex clinical cases and adverse events. Oversee the management of medical records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality (HIPAA compliance), and proper documentation across all departments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement clinical protocols that improve patient care quality and safety. Supervise medical staff including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals; foster a culture of continuous improvement through mentoring and performance evaluations. Demonstrated expertise in hormone therapy, metabolic health, or preventive medicine. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality management. Support marketing and patient education with clinically accurate content (as needed). Requirements Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution with active licensure in relevant jurisdictions. Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Preventive Medicine). Extensive understanding of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems, and medical terminology. Strong leadership skills with supervising experience in a healthcare environment; ability to motivate teams toward shared goals. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security are maintained at all times.
