As Medical Director, you'll lead an exceptional team of specialists while helping guide strategic growth, clinical excellence, and innovation across the hospital. You'll join a thriving specialty team that includes Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, and Rehabilitation, with continued expansion of specialty services. Partner with hospital leadership to guide strategic growth, service expansion, and long-term hospital development. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, mentorship, and professional growth throughout the organization. Mentor specialists, interns, and emerging leaders while supporting a robust internship program and continuing education initiatives. Champion innovation and help advance programs including minimally invasive procedures, interventional services, and clinical research. Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts as CASE continues to grow its specialty teams. Maintain an active clinical caseload while balancing leadership responsibilities with dedicated administrative time. Collaborate closely with specialists across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Rehabilitation, and additional services to deliver exceptional patient care. Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations. Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning. What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado veterinary licensure. Board Certification in a veterinary specialty or significant leadership experience within specialty and emergency practice environments. Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, mentorship, and hospital leadership. Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
