Approximately 2-8 Hours per Month About Us Lumin Wellness is a growing Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) dedicated to providing high-quality medication-assisted treatment and counseling services to individuals recovering from opioid use disorder. We are seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical oversight and regulatory guidance for our program. Position Summary This role is ideal for a physician seeking a flexible leadership position with minimal time commitment. The Medical Director will provide medical oversight and consultation to ensure compliance with federal and state OTP regulations. Direct patient care is not required, though consultation may occasionally be requested regarding complex clinical cases. Responsibilities Serve as Medical Director for a licensed Opioid Treatment Program. Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing and counseling staff. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Review and approve policies and procedures as needed. Attend periodic leadership or quality meetings (typically virtual). Ensure compliance with applicable SAMHSA, DEA, CARF, and State of Michigan requirements. Provide consultation on complex clinical matters when necessary. Collaborate with Executive Leadership and Clinical Leadership regarding program operations. Qualifications MD or DO licensed and in good standing. Eligible to serve as Medical Director of an Opioid Treatment Program under federal regulations. Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, family medicine, internal medicine, or related field preferred. Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (Methadone, Buprenorphine, Vivitrol) preferred. Michigan medical license preferred or ability to obtain licensure. What We Offer Flexible schedule.
