Duties Provide expert medical leadership by developing and implementing clinical policies aligned with industry standards such as NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations. Oversee the management of electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of medical records, coding, and compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Lead clinical research projects, ensuring adherence to research protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Supervise medical staff including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to promote best practices in patient care and practice management. Collaborate with hospital administration on budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning to optimize healthcare delivery. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws such as

HIPAA, DEA

(Drug Enforcement Administration) regulations, and other federal/state mandates related to medical practice management. Drive quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data, implementing process enhancements, and maintaining high standards for patient safety and care quality. Manage utilization review processes to ensure appropriate resource use while maintaining optimal patient outcomes. Foster a culture of continuous education by supporting teaching activities, academic leadership, and professional development for medical staff. Experience Extensive post-residency experience in a clinical setting with demonstrated leadership roles in healthcare management or medical administration. Proven supervisory experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams within hospital or clinic environments. Strong background in EMR/EHR systems management, electronic health records (EHR) documentation, and medical records compliance. Deep understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical development processes. Experience conducting or managing clinical research studies with familiarity in FDA regulations and research ethics standards. Knowledge of managed care principles, healthcare compliance requirements including HIPAA and NCQA standards. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from conception through execution while managing budgets effectively. Prior involvement in teaching or academic leadership roles that support professional growth within a healthcare setting.
