Job Description
Where Sanitas Palliative Care Miami/Doral, FL, United States Description The Sanitas Palliative Care Program (Florida) is in search of a Medical Director. The Program offers 11 counties in Florida (Miami/Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Orange, Lake, Osceola, Seminole, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Pinellas). The team consists of a Palliative Care Operations Director (Nurse), Business Manager, Case Manager, 7 APRNS, 4 Care Coordinator/MAs, 3 Social Workers, Outreach Admin, Behavioral Health and a Chaplain. The Program is mainly home based but we see patients in the clinic and virtually as well. The Program is remote but the team is close and collaborative. We gather monthly for a large meeting, weekly for clinical meetings and daily for IDT Meeting. The Program is accredited by New Health Foundation-Global Accreditation. We have excellent Program, Health Outcomes and Survey findings. We're growing and looking for a Medical Director who wants to partner with our team. We're in search of a physician who is Palliative/Hospice Fellowship Trained and/or has experience as a Hospice or Palliative Care Medical Director. The position offers great work-life balance-no after hours, weekends, or holidays. Work from home. The Medical Director will assist in seeing some patients in-person, clinic or virtual.
