About All Day Medical Care All Day Medical Care is a growing outpatient behavioral health practice dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality psychiatric care throughout Maryland. We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to serve as our Part-Time Medical Director and provide clinical oversight for our team of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs). This position is designed for an experienced physician seeking a flexible leadership opportunity with minimal administrative responsibilities while helping ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based psychiatric care. Position Summary The Medical Director provides physician oversight, clinical consultation, and quality assurance support for the organization's psychiatric services. This role focuses on mentoring providers, maintaining clinical standards, and supporting regulatory compliance rather than managing daily operations. The expected time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per week , with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Provide physician oversight and clinical collaboration for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in accordance with Maryland regulations. Be available for consultation regarding complex psychiatric cases as needed. Complete periodic chart reviews to support quality assurance and documentation standards. Participate in monthly clinical leadership meetings. Review and provide input on clinical policies and treatment protocols when appropriate. Support the onboarding of new psychiatric providers by serving as a clinical resource. Promote adherence to evidence-based psychiatric practices and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency. Active, unrestricted Maryland medical license. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Active DEA registration. Experience treating psychiatric patients in an outpatient setting. Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills.

Preferred :

Experience collaborating with or supervising Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Previous Medical Director or physician leadership experience. Experience in community behavioral health or outpatient psychiatry.
