Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director with licensure as an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) or LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor) to lead our behavioral health programs. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health and behavioral care across diverse populations. The Program Director will champion innovative treatment approaches, foster a collaborative team environment, and uphold compliance with all regulatory standards including HIPAA and ICD coding requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in mental health services, working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring conditions, and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Lead and supervise clinical staff, including clinicians providing individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health counseling, behavioral therapy, and crisis management. Oversee program operations, including intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, case management, and patient care documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems. Develop and implement treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care for diverse client populations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records, medical documentation, ICD coding, and medical terminology standards. Coordinate clinical supervision and training for staff on topics like crisis intervention, social work practices, behavioral management, addiction counseling, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and working with individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders. Manage clinical team meetings to foster professional growth while promoting a culture of excellence in mental health and behavioral health services. Engage in data collection and research initiatives to improve program outcomes and support clinical research efforts related to mental health conditions such as PTSD or co-occurring disorders. Collaborate with families and community partners to provide holistic child & family counseling services while addressing social determinants affecting client well-being. Experience Proven management experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams within behavioral health or mental health settings. Extensive background working directly with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing mental health conditions or developmental disabilities. Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention strategies, and working with individuals with substance use disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses; familiarity with

ICD-9/ICD

coding is preferred. Experience utilizing EMR/EHR platforms for patient assessment documentation and medical records management. Skilled in delivering individual/group psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, or psychotherapeutic techniques tailored for diverse cultural backgrounds. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations including intake assessments; experience working within hospital or outpatient settings is advantageous.
