Job Description

The Hughes Center in Danville, Virginia, is seeking a Leader Adolescent Psychiatry Physician for residential treatment services. Position Highlights Full-time employed or independent contractor opportunity If employed overall compensation range, $335,000 to $365,000. Collegial work environment with strong clinical and administrative support Oversight of two experienced, well trained NPs. New 96-bed facility with expanded resources About the Program Serves adolescents and young adults ages 13-22 Provides residential treatment and a day school for students in grades K-12 Supports individuals with: Intellectual disabilities Autism Spectrum Disorder Other Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) Focused on helping patients build skills for greater independence in their homes, schools, and communities Ideal Candidate Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, or General Psychiatry with extensive Child & Adolescent experience Interest in intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, and PDD Qualifications MD/DO from an accredited program Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia 5-6 years of training experience Must meet credentialing requirements Location Danville, Virginia, on a 60-acre campus in Southern Virginia Convenient to Greensboro, NC; Roanoke, VA; and Raleigh, NC Apply / Contact , Interested candidates may apply through this ad or contact: Will DeCuyper In-House Physician Recruiter will.decuyper@uhsinc.com
