An Emergency Medical Director within emergency medical services is a physician who provides guidance, leadership, oversight and continuous quality improvement (CQI) for the practice of local EMTs and paramedics within a predefined area. Typically board-certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine. Generally responsible for either the creation of protocols for treatment by prehospital providers or providing leadership to the group of physicians who assist with the provision of medical oversight depending on which model of service delivery and which model of medical control are operating.

Job Description

Garfield County Hospital is searching for an experienced and compassionate PA/NP to join our team. This position covers the emergency room, hospital, and swing bed programs. Will need to be able to see and treat pediatric patients in the ER. This is an opportunity to work closely with a team dedicated to providing hands-on, patient-centered care. Enjoy a desirable schedule of 5 days on and 10 days off! Annual salary is $198,000 to $290,000 plus full benefits package. Must have Washington state MD licensure and the ability to obtain applicable professional liability insurance coverage. ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
