As a Radiation Oncologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients with cancer, developing personalized treatment plans, and utilizing the latest technologies in radiation therapy. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing our practice's reputation in the healthcare community. Responsibilities The Radiation Oncologist role offers the opportunity to practice external beam radiation therapy, with the potential to incorporate HDR brachytherapy in the future if desired. We encourage candidates with both experience and new graduates to apply, as mentorship will be available for those just starting their careers. The position involves collaboration with fellow radiation oncologists in a comprehensive treatment setting. The available external beam treatment modalities include 3D conformal radiation therapy, IMRT utilizing RapidArc® technology, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), as well as OSMS/AlignRT surface monitoring and respiratory gating for enhanced treatment precision. As part of the interdisciplinary team, the Radiation Oncologist will utilize professional expertise to manage patient care effectively, employing the nursing process in a manner that integrates both clinical knowledge and practical skills.
