This pivotal role combines administrative expertise with healthcare management, ensuring smooth clinic operations, compliance with health regulations, and exceptional patient service. As a key leader, you will oversee staff, manage financial and administrative functions, and uphold the highest standards of medical office management to deliver outstanding care and support to our patients. Responsibilities Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction. Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, medical billing, coding accuracy, and expense control to ensure fiscal health of the practice. Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development for healthcare professionals and administrative personnel. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and state/federal health policies to ensure legal and ethical practice standards. Utilize electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) like Eaglesoft and Dentrix for accurate medical records management and patient data security. Oversee medical administrative support functions including patient management software, medical records handling, and appointment scheduling. Coordinate with healthcare providers on clinical workflows, acute care protocols, utilization management, and managed care processes to enhance patient outcomes. Requirements Proven experience in medical office or healthcare practice management with strong knowledge of office management principles. Extensive medical office experience including familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Supervisory experience managing healthcare teams in clinics or hospital settings; excellent managerial communication skills required. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, and health policy policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and administrative tasks. Knowledge of medical billing procedures, budgeting practices, and financial management within a healthcare setting. Background in nursing or acute/critical care experience is highly desirable; dental clinic experience is a plus. Ability to handle complex tasks such as managing teams as a healthcare practice manager while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
