Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Practice Manager/Dental Biller to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice while ensuring efficient billing and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in medical office management, and proficiency with dental-specific electronic health record systems. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of dental practice operations, including staff supervision, patient scheduling, and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and JCAHO standards. Oversee billing processes, including dental billing, medical billing, and coding using systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursement. Maintain financial oversight through budgeting, fiscal management, and revenue cycle management to optimize practice profitability. Supervise human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development for dental and administrative personnel. Ensure proper management of electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) and patient management software to uphold data integrity and confidentiality. Monitor adherence to healthcare practice management policies, including managed care protocols, utilization management, and compliance with health regulation policies. Coordinate with clinical staff to streamline workflows related to acute care and medical administrative support while fostering a positive team environment. Experience Proven experience in medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting, with a strong background in managing teams as a healthcare practice manager. Extensive knowledge of dental office procedures, including dental billing, coding (ICD/CPT), and familiarity with EagleSoft or Dentrix software. Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management, budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle optimization within a healthcare environment. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and compliance standards such as JCAHO requirements. Prior experience with EMR/EHR systems (Electronic Health Records) and patient management software is essential. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively lead staff and serve patients' needs. Additional qualifications include acute care or critical care experience in healthcare settings, knowledge of managed care policies, utilization management practices, and healthcare regulation policies.
