Responsibilities Oversee daily hospital operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and JCAHO standards Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, medical billing, and fiscal management to optimize clinic profitability Supervise veterinary technicians, administrative staff, and healthcare team members, promoting teamwork and high-quality patient care Coordinate with vet techs to support medical procedures, assist with medical records management, and ensure accurate documentation using EMR/EHR systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix Implement clinic policies related to health regulation policies, utilization management, and managed care protocols Facilitate human resources functions including staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive workplace culture Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing client inquiries efficiently and ensuring patient management software is utilized effectively for appointments and records Skills Proven experience in healthcare practice management with strong knowledge of medical office systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, EMR/EHR systems, and patient management software Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams within a veterinary or healthcare setting Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and compliance with health regulation policies Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare practice standards Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service Familiarity with office management tools such as Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes Acute care or critical care experience preferred to support complex patient needs within the clinic environment Join our team to lead with passion!
