Job Description

Our high paced, fun, state of the art pediatric dental offices are looking for a personable, energetic registered dental assistant to join our team! Good communication with parents, children and team members is a must! Duties of Registered Dental Assistant
  • Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place
  • Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records
  • Perform routine dental cleanings and assist in the performance of more complicated surgical procedures chair side
  • Provide support to dentists, surgeons and staff as needed
  • Offer patients advice and materials necessary to maintain good dental health
  • Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment.
  • Review and order inventory & supplies, maintain records
  • Assist with maintaining clinical equipment
  • Ability to train clinical staff & maintain records in reference to training
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a dental assistant certification program
  • Coronal Polishing Certification
  • Sealant Certification
  • Radiograph Certification
  • Current CPR
  • Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of computer programs such as MS Office, Eaglesoft dental software
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in pediatrics
  • Minimum 2 years as a back office supervisor
