Job Description

Assistant Pediatric Dental Office Manager We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy dental practice. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of dental office operations. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day practice operations and ensure the office runs efficiently Lead, train, and motivate the dental team Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance Monitor office production, collections, and overall financial performance Oversee insurance verification, billing, claims, and accounts receivable Help maximize patient scheduling, retention, and case acceptance Monitor and improve practice KPIs and office performance Ensure excellent patient service and resolve patient concerns professionally Maintain compliance with office policies, OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable regulations Coordinate with the dentist and clinical team to support practice goals Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training team members Maintain appropriate inventory and control office expenses Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions Qualifications Previous dental office management experience strongly preferred Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and practice management systems Strong understanding of dental office operations and KPIs Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and highly motivated Experience with Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental, or similar software is a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation Supportive leadership team Opportunity for professional growth Collaborative work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on practice performance Potential for advancement If you are an experienced dental professional who is ready to take the lead and help a practice thrive, we would love to hear from you.
