  • 38/hour, depending on experience La Puente Family Dentistry is a new private dental practice opening in La Puente, California.
We are looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Bilingual Dental Office Manager to help build and manage the practice from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of the front office, help create strong systems and workflows, and grow with a new practice long-term. Fluent conversational Spanish and English are required due to the needs of our patient population. Responsibilities The Office Manager will help oversee the day-to-day administrative and business operations of the practice, including: Managing the front office and overall patient experience Answering phones and overseeing appointment scheduling Managing new-patient intake and communication Coordinating treatment plans and helping patients understand treatment and financial options Presenting treatment and following up on unscheduled treatment Verifying dental insurance benefits and eligibility Understanding PPO dental insurance plans, deductibles, annual maximums, frequencies, and limitations Submitting and following up on insurance claims Managing insurance aging and outstanding claims Collecting patient balances and maintaining healthy accounts receivable Monitoring daily production and collections Managing patient confirmations, recalls, and reactivation Maintaining an efficient doctor and hygiene schedule as the practice grows Training and supervising front-office staff Helping recruit, onboard, and train additional team members Creating and maintaining office systems, policies, and workflows Monitoring key practice metrics such as production, collections, case acceptance, new patients, scheduling, and accounts receivable Working closely with the owner-dentist to identify and solve operational problems Helping create a positive, accountable, and professional team culture Maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications Required:
Fluent conversational Spanish and English Previous dental-office experience Strong understanding of dental terminology and treatment Excellent communication and customer-service skills Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Strong computer and administrative skills Ability to lead a team and take ownership of problems Comfortable working directly with the owner-dentist in a growing practice
Strongly Preferred:
Previous dental office management experience 3+ years of dental front-office or management experience PPO insurance experience Treatment coordinator experience Experience with dental claims, AR, and insurance follow-up Experience managing production and collections Experience helping open or grow a dental practice Experience with Curve Dental or similar dental practice-management software Who We're Looking For We are looking for more than someone who can simply run the front desk. The ideal candidate is a strong operator and leader who is proactive, organized, comfortable making decisions, and capable of helping build an efficient practice.

As the practice grows, the Office Manager will increasingly focus on leadership, management, systems, and overall practice performance. Compensation $32
  • 38 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
There will also be an opportunity for performance-based bonuses as the practice grows. Full-time position with approximately 40 hours per week . Benefits may be added as the practice grows.
