In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of clinical and administrative activities, foster a positive patient experience, and drive the practice's growth through effective management. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, managing financial performance, and supporting a team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact within a growing dental environment. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including patient scheduling, treatment coordination, and administrative workflows Coordinate patient treatment plans by explaining procedures, scheduling appointments and addressing patient questions with clarity and confidence. Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billing processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) through Dentrix Supervise staff including dental assistants, hygienists, administrative support personnel, and other team members to ensure high performance and compliance with healthcare standards Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and patient information Coordinate with insurance providers and managed care organizations to optimize billing and reimbursement processes Implement clinic policies and procedures aligned with JCAHO standards and healthcare best practices Utilize medical terminology knowledge to support clinical documentation accuracy and quality assurance efforts Support human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives Monitor clinic performance metrics related to patient care quality, operational efficiency, and financial targets Requirements Proven experience in dental office management with a strong understanding of healthcare operations Demonstrated supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a clinical setting Proficiency with Dentrix software (preferred) or similar; familiarity with medical records management is essential Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, and medical administrative support functions Experience in fiscal management including budgeting, financial management, billing, and utilization management Knowledge of dental clinic operations along with acute care is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff, patients, insurance companies, and external partners Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare regulations and maintain high standards of patient care excellence Join us as a Dental Practice Manager where your leadership will shape the future of our growing practice!
