Pay will depend on experience and productivity. We have a very friendly environment in a state of the art office. The position is full time. We are a FFS PPO office.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator/Manager to oversee the development, presentation, and management of patient treatment plans within our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in dental office management, medical administrative support, and practice coordination. This role requires a proactive approach to patient care coordination, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in dental and medical software systems. The coordinator/manager will ensure seamless communication between patients, dental providers, and administrative staff while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional dental care. Duties Coordinate the creation and presentation of comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring clarity and transparency. Manage scheduling and follow-up processes for treatment consultations, ensuring timely patient engagement and adherence to treatment protocols. Supervise administrative staff involved in treatment planning, billing, and insurance processing to optimize workflow efficiency. Utilize dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks to document treatment details accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records. Oversee fiscal management aspects including budgeting, financial management, and billing procedures related to treatment plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all medical records and patient information. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure proper documentation of medical terminology, medical records, and treatment progress within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Monitor utilization management processes and coordinate with insurance providers for managed care approvals when necessary. Lead efforts in human resources related to staff training on medical terminology, office management practices, and healthcare regulations. Maintain high standards of clinic experience by overseeing quality assurance measures in medical management and office operations. Requirements Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice coordination with a focus on treatment planning. Strong knowledge of dental clinic operations along with familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing administrative or clinical teams within a healthcare setting. Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial oversight, and billing procedures specific to dental practices. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements. Experience with managed care processes and utilization management protocols within a dental or medical environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced clinic setting. Effective communication skills for liaising between patients, providers, insurance companies, and staff members. Background in nursing or acute care is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant clinic experience is essential.
