REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Dental office experience isREQUIRED.
Applicants without dental experience will not be considered. The ideal candidate should have experience with: Presenting and closing treatment plans Discussing financial options and patient out-of-pocket costs PPO insurance verification and benefit breakdowns Creating accurate treatment estimates Scheduling and maintaining a productive schedule Accounts receivable and aging reports Insurance claim tracing and follow-up Patient statements and outstanding balances Recall and unscheduled treatment follow-up New patient and consultation follow-up Dental terminology and procedures Dental practice-management software Easy Dental experience is a plus Treatment Coordinator Responsibilities The Treatment Coordinator is expected to confidently guide patients from diagnosis through financial arrangements and scheduling.Responsibilities include:
Present treatment plans clearly and professionally Help patients understand the value and importance of recommended treatment Discuss fees, insurance estimates, financing options, and payment arrangements Follow up consistently on unscheduled treatment Contact patients with pending treatment and work toward getting them scheduled Follow up on new patients, consultations, implant consultations, and specialty cases Maintain accurate notes regarding treatment discussions and patient follow-up Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly production and collection goals Track treatment acceptance and follow-up activity Maintain a sense of urgency with unscheduled treatment and open opportunities Scheduling & Front Office Responsibilities Maintain an organized and productive doctor and hygiene schedule Confirm appointments and actively fill cancellations and openings Schedule major production, minor treatment, new patients, recalls, and specialty appointments appropriately Work recall lists and overdue patients Answer phones professionally and promptly Return patient calls and messages in a timely manner Respond professionally to patient questions and concerns Maintain accurate patient records, notes, and office files Assist other front-office team members when needed Insurance, Billing & Collections Verify PPO insurance benefits Complete accurate insurance breakdowns Understand preventive, basic, and major benefits Verify deductibles, annual maximums, frequencies, waiting periods, and limitations Prepare accurate patient estimates Trace outstanding insurance claims Work insurance and patient A/R aging reports Send patient statements as needed Follow up on outstanding patient balances Help ensure treatment is properly collected before or at the time of service Performance Expectations We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their position and results .The right candidate must be:

This position is a key part of the daily operation of the practice, and consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
