Duties Oversee all administrative functions including patient scheduling, billing, and medical records management using EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft. Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, medical billing, and fiscal management to ensure the practice remains financially healthy. Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing leadership in human resources activities like hiring, training, performance evaluations, and team development. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and health regulation policies. Coordinate patient management processes, including patient intake, medical terminology documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records. Implement practice management strategies to optimize workflow efficiency and improve patient service delivery. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare practice management trends, managed care policies, and utilization management protocols. Requirements Proven experience managing a dental or medical office with strong supervisory skills in healthcare settings. Extensive knowledge of medical office systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, EMR/EHR systems, and patient management software. Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes. Strong understanding of fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes. Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with customer service expertise to foster a positive environment for staff and patients alike. Background in healthcare practice management or clinic experience with acute care or critical care experience preferred.
