Crest Optometry is seeking a full-time Optical Manager. The ideal candidate displays experience leading a small team, deep understaning of optical business, and enjoys interfacing with patients and co-workers in a proactive and helpful manner. The dynamic nature of the role will mean there is no boring day! A successful candidate will have experience executing at a high personal standard of customer service in a fast-paced optometry office. The scope of the role will require the optician to lead the retail front-end, oversee staff in the lab, and be accountable for customer service escalations.

Primary Duties Include:

Oversee optician and lab tech work with resolving high complexity cases Own inventory management Advise patients on selection of ideal frames and lens options Accurately process glasses and contact lens orders Accurately process patient payments Manage patient appointment calendars Manage patient profile and accounts Ensure patient communications before, during, and after appointments Adjust and dispense glasses Fully own executing lab orders of prescription glasses

Additional Duties Include:

Support accurate vision and medical billing Assist with front desk duties, such as inbound calls and patient flow, as needed

Experience:

Previous experience in optical industry required, 5+ years Previous experience in medical billing and/or patient care preferred

Expected Hours:

Slightly Flexible Monday 9:30 am

• 6:30 pm Tuesday 10:30 am
• 7:30 pm Wednesday 10:30 am
• 7:30 pm Thursday 8:30 am
• 5:30 pm Friday 8:30 am
• 5:30 pm This full-time position starts with a probationary period.
