Job Description

Description In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination for the Primary and Specialty Care clinic. The position is a combination of clinical (direct patient care) and administrative nursing responsibilities. We're seeking an experienced RN with supervisory experience to lead and support our clinical team. In this vital role, you'll provide hands-on patient care while ensuring an efficient workflow of our back office team at the San Luis Obispo Primary and Specialty Care clinic. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing patient assessment, care, and education to pediatric and adult patients in a clinical/urgent care setting Supervising and training clinic nursing staff Working closely with physicians to manage patient care; triage phone and in-basket messages for providers Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Clinical Director to ensure seamless clinical operations Planning and adjusting staffing to meet operational needs efficiently Responsible for the management of the Quality Assurance and audit process; responsible for ordering clinic supplies and medications
