This key team member will serve as a centralized support resource by handling incoming patient calls from our network of dental offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office scheduling, exceptional phone communication skills, and a flexible mindset to assist in both corporate and office-level operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Call Support:
Answer and manage incoming patient calls routed from various dental offices. Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently. Provide accurate information regarding office hours, insurance, and service. Customer Service Deliver an excellent patient experience over the phone by being professional, empathetic, and informative. Resolve patient concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
Administrative Support:
Assist with administrative and operational tasks at the corporate office. Support scheduling workflows, insurance verifications, and follow-ups.
Field Support:
Be available to travel to dental offices as needed to fill in for front office staff during absences or staffing shortages. Assist onsite teams with scheduling support and maintaining consistent patient schedules.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of dental office experience, with a strong focus on scheduling and patient coordination. Proven phone and customer service skills in a high-volume environment. Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance basics, and appointment workflows. Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar). Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a team-player mindset. Willingness to travel to local office locations as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required. Prior experience working in a call center or multi-location dental group is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality standards.
