Duties Manage all aspects of office operations, including scheduling, coordinate billing with billing company, patient records, and administrative workflows using EMR/EHR system open dental. Coordinate patient treatment plans by explaining procedures, scheduling appointments, and ensuring timely follow-up to optimize patient care outcomes. Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance on medical office procedures, HIPAA compliance, and customer service standards to maintain a professional and welcoming environment. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate acute care and managed care processes while supporting utilization management efforts. Requirements Proven experience managing a dental office with strong knowledge of healthcare practice management system open dental. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing healthcare administrative teams or clinic staff. Extensive understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), and dental billing procedures. Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, managed care policies, and health regulation compliance. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with customer service expertise to ensure positive patient interactions. Prior experience in dental office or healthcare clinic environments is highly preferred; acute care or critical care experience is a plus.
