Dental Office Manager Position Summary The Dental Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and operational functions of the dental practice. This position ensures the office operates efficiently, provides excellent patient service, supports the dental team, and maintains a professional and positive environment. The Office Manager works closely with the dentist and staff to coordinate office operations, scheduling, financial processes, staffing, and patient relations. Essential Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental office. Manage patient scheduling, appointments, confirmations, and office flow. Provide excellent customer service and address patient questions or concerns professionally. Supervise, support, and coordinate front-office staff. Assist with hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of office staff. Manage insurance verification, claims, billing, payments, and patient accounts. Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collection efforts. Coordinate insurance and patient financial matters while maintaining confidentiality. Maintain accurate patient and administrative records. Oversee office supplies, equipment, inventory, and vendor relationships. Help maintain compliance with applicable dental office policies, privacy requirements, and regulations. Monitor office productivity, scheduling efficiency, and key operational goals. Prepare or assist with reports, deposits, payroll information, and other administrative functions. Support the dentist and clinical team with administrative and operational needs. Promote a professional, welcoming, and team-oriented office environment. Handle patient concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain knowledge of office policies, procedures, and practice management systems. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or dental office management training preferred. Previous experience in a dental office, healthcare setting, or office management role preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience is a plus. Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, claims, and patient accounts preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and dental practice management software. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information appropriately. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
