This energetic role requires a proactive leader who can manage teams, streamline administrative functions, and ensure exceptional patient care. You will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, managing financial performance, and fostering a positive environment for staff and clients alike. Responsibilities Oversee the entire clinic operation, including medical office management, staff supervision, and client relations. Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, fiscal management, and revenue cycle processes using Cornerstone & Weave. Supervise veterinary and administrative staff, ensuring effective team collaboration and high-quality medical administrative support. Ensure compliance with health regulation policies including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and other applicable healthcare regulations. Coordinate medical records management, electronic health records (EHR), and ensure accurate documentation of patient information using systems like Dentrix or Epic. Oversee clinic scheduling, inventory control, and procurement to optimize workflow and resource utilization. Implement best practices in healthcare management, managing teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment focused on excellent patient care. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a medical or veterinary office setting with strong leadership skills in managing teams as a healthcare practice manager. Extensive medical office experience with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Cornerstone. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA and JCAHO standards. Background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial management, and utilization management within a clinical environment. Experience working within veterinary clinics or dental offices with acute care or hospital experience preferred. Familiarity with human resources functions related to staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation and compliance. Demonstrated ability to handle complex medical administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
