Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Business Operations Specialist (Float Clinic Administrator) for a leading healthcare organization in the North Orlando market. This individual will support clinic operations across multiple outpatient primary care locations, providing coverage during PTO, leaves of absence, training periods, and other operational needs. This role is ideal for an aspiring healthcare operations leader who wants exposure to multiple clinics, leadership teams, and operational environments while developing into a future Clinic Administrator. The individual will partner closely with Clinic Administrators, providers, and regional leadership to maintain smooth clinic operations, support staff, and ensure an exceptional patient experience. Day-to-Day
  • Provide operational support across multiple outpatient primary care clinics
  • Serve as interim clinic leadership during PTO coverage, leave coverage, or staffing transitions
  • Assist Clinic Administrators with daily clinic operations and workflow management
  • Support provider scheduling, patient flow, staffing coordination, and clinic efficiency initiatives
  • Partner with clinical and administrative teammates to ensure high-quality patient care and service
  • Monitor operational metrics and assist in identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Help maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements
  • Support onboarding and training efforts for new teammates
  • Assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating issues when appropriate
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and clinic leadership on operational priorities and special projects

  • 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or healthcare operations experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare, medical office, outpatient, or primary care setting
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new clinic environments and operational processes
  • Experience supporting administrative and clinical staff in a patient-facing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between North Orlando clinic locations
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Clinic Manager, Office Manager, Practice Manager, Lead PSR, Lead Medical Assistant, or similar healthcare leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in primary care, value-based care, or managed care environments
  • Exposure to clinic performance metrics, staffing, scheduling, or budgeting
  • Multi-site healthcare experience
  • Experience working directly with physicians, providers, or regional operations leadership
