This is a key leadership position that combines the day-to-day management of the dental office with patient treatment coordination and case presentation. The Role As our Dental Office Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing front-office operations, supporting the dental team, and guiding patients through their treatment journey—from their first phone call through scheduling, treatment acceptance, and follow-up. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both practice management and patient interaction and can balance business responsibilities with genuine patient care. Key Responsibilities Office Management Oversee daily front-office operations and ensure the practice runs smoothly. Manage scheduling, patient flow, confirmations, cancellations, and appointment optimization. Coordinate and support front-office team members. Monitor office systems, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency. Assist with practice goals, production, collections, and overall financial performance. Handle patient concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutions. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure office procedures are followed. Coordinate communication between the front office, clinical team, and doctors. Treatment Coordination Welcome and build strong relationships with new and existing patients. Review proposed treatment plans with patients in a clear, compassionate, and easy-to-understand manner. Educate patients about recommended treatment, sequencing, benefits, and financial considerations. Help patients understand their insurance benefits and available payment or financing options. Follow up with patients who have outstanding or unscheduled treatment. Track treatment acceptance and help identify opportunities to improve case acceptance. Coordinate appointments and ensure patients move seamlessly from diagnosis to treatment. Provide an exceptional experience that builds patient trust and confidence in our recommendations. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a dental office management, treatment coordination, dental administrative, or similar leadership role . Strong understanding of dental office operations and patient scheduling. Experience presenting dental treatment plans is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable discussing treatment costs, insurance, and financial options with patients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional, positive, and confident personality. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced dental environment. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. A genuine commitment to patient care and an outstanding patient experience. Familiarity with dental practice management software is an asset.
