Semidey Dental is looking for a friendly, motivated, and experienced Dental Office Manager to lead our practice and help create an exceptional experience for both our patients and our team. We are seeking a hands-on leader who is organized, professional, technology savvy, and confident managing all aspects of a dental office. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of dental scheduling, insurance and billing, team leadership, and day-to-day practice operations. What to Know About Us Semidey Dental is a private dental practice in the heart of Davie with an amazing team AND patient base. Dr. Alex opened Semidey Dental in 2011 and brought Dr. Tarte on in 2022 as the practice's first associate after she started with us as a dental assistant prior to dental school. Kathleen, our current office manager, has been with us since 2013 and is beginning a new chapter in her life. She is ready to pass the hat to the right person, along with her knowledge and routines to help make the transition as seamless as possible. Practice culture is everything to us.

- Smiling — if we can't smile, how can we expect our patients to? What You'll Do As our Dental Office Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the practice, including:
- Manage front desk operations, patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out
- Optimize the schedule to maximize productivity while maintaining an excellent patient and dental team experience
- Oversee dental billing, insurance verification, claims, payments, and collections
- Follow up on outstanding claims and insurance issues
- Monitor production, collections, and other office performance metrics
- Hire, coach, and support team members
- Lead by example and foster a positive, professional, team-oriented workplace
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate communication between the front office and clinical team
- Maintain efficient office systems, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable office policies and regulations
- Use technology and practice-management tools to improve efficiency and communication
- Identify opportunities to improve patient satisfaction, team performance, and practice growth
- Take ownership of the overall day-to-day operation of the dental office What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Dental Office Manager or senior dental administrative professional
- Strong understanding of dental insurance, billing, and collections
- Proven leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technology skills and the ability to learn and utilize new software quickly
- Experience with Open Dental strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A positive, friendly, and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
