Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the success of our dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily office operations, coordinate patient treatment plans, and ensure a seamless patient experience. Your expertise in medical office management and team supervision will foster a positive environment that promotes efficiency, compliance, and exceptional patient care. Duties Manage all aspects of dental office operations, including scheduling, billing, and administrative workflows to optimize practice productivity. Supervise staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service delivery. Coordinate patient treatment plans by explaining procedures, financial options, and scheduling follow-up appointments with clarity and enthusiasm. Oversee medical records management, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate documentation using EMR/EHR system Dentrix. Monitor fiscal activities including budgeting, financial management, and managed care processes to ensure the practice's financial health. Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and policies related to dental management, HIPAA compliance, and health regulation policies. Facilitate communication between patients, providers, insurance companies, and vendors to streamline operations and improve patient satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with strong supervisory skills. Extensive knowledge of medical administrative support functions including medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Proficiency in dental software Dentrix Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial management, and utilization management. Experience supervising teams within a healthcare setting; excellent human resources skills for staff development and conflict resolution. Knowledge of dental health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Dental insurance Application Question(s): If there's a call out and we're down to only 1 assistant, are you willing to help your team members turn down an operatory, help hygiene sterilize instruments, unpack shipments, update the ongoing inventory list and they help you as well? Teamwork and being kind to one another is required : ) How many insurance verifications are you able to do in a day? How many treatment plans have you presented in a day? How many patients are you able to call in a day to confirm appointments and fill the schedule with holes? Do you need a Dentrix refresher? We unfortunately don't have time to teach Dentrix so please do not apply if you've used Dentrix in the past but are unable to do insurance verifications, treatment planning, and filing insurance claims without any assistance or a Dentrix refresher Please list 2 licensed dentist references from the past 2 dental ADULT offices you've worked at. Include the full name, number, and give them a heads up that they'll be receiving a call to get feedback. References must be licensed dentists not office managers or other dental staff.
