Office & Vacation Rental Manager Black Hammock Adventures | Oviedo, FL 35+ hours/week minimum| $23-$25hour Come work somewhere with character. Black Hammock Adventures has been part of the Lake Jesup landscape . Today, our family-owned property brings together airboat tours, a waterfront restaurant, the Lazy Gator Bar, marina, event spaces, and a growing vacation-rental business. We currently manage 11 vacation rental homes located within about a mile of the property , with a new luxury property opening soon. We're looking for a capable, organized, and dependable Office & Vacation Rental Manager to supervise of our front office and help grow our rental business. Your Office Responsibilities Answer and manage phone calls and emails Maintain records, filing, and general office paperwork Order office and operating supplies Review employee timecards before payroll Compile and send required information to our outside accountant Keep the office organized and make sure important items don't fall through the cracks Your Vacation Rental Responsibilities Manage bookings and guest communication through Airbnb, Vrbo, and our direct-booking website Respond quickly and professionally to booking inquiries Coordinate cleaners and maintenance between guest stays Inspect properties before guest arrivals to ensure they are ready Keep calendars, rates, availability, photos, and listings accurate and competitive Follow up with guests and help build strong reviews and repeat business Identify opportunities to increase occupancy and rental revenue This isn't just about maintaining the rentals. We want someone who can help grow this part of the business.

Important:

After-Hours Guest Communication Vacation rentals don't operate only from 9 to 5. Booking inquiries and guest questions often arrive during evenings and weekends, and quick responses can make the difference between winning and losing a reservation. Some after-hours communication will therefore be required. It can normally be handled remotely from your phone or laptop included in the hourly rate (since most of answers are automated). If occasional evening or weekend guest communication doesn't fit your schedule, this probably isn't the right position. You'd Be a Great Fit If You Have at least 2 years of experience in hospitality, vacation rentals, property management, or a busy front office Are friendly and professional with guests, employees, and vendors Communicate well by phone, email, and text Stay organized and follow through without needing constant supervision Learn new software and booking platforms quickly or already have experience will be a plus. Have a reliable vehicle and valid Florida driver's license.

Clean record Can work some weekends when needed Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. What We Offer $23-$25/hour depending on experience Minimum 35 hours per week All hours worked are tracked and paid You'll work directly with ownership and a small management team — no corporate layers and no sitting in meetings all day. Your work will be visible, your ideas will matter, and you'll have an opportunity to take greater responsibility as our vacation-rental business expands.
