Comfortable Position Summary:
The Office Manager is responsible for:- responding efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiries
- ensuring the delivery of quality dental care to patients
- resolving patient issues in accordance with company policies and procedures, healthcare regulations and dental board standards
- managing patient scheduling and direct patient traffic flow
- organizing and presenting financial arrangements to patients
- training, developing and performance manage staff to meet performance standards
- determining staff schedules and ensure operational standards are met
- organizing and overseeing supply purchases, equipment upgrades and operations expenses
- completing administrative functions including bank deposits, revenue posting, staff payroll and invoice processing
- managing/overseeing collections and accounts receivable
- Forwarding business correspondence and reports to Executive Team
- running and analyzing management reports
- supporting marketing and promotion initiatives
- maintaining patient data according to regulations and company policies
Success Factors:
Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards. Must maintain a professional demeanor and attitude. Must be detail oriented in order to maintain good financial practices, account balances, and financial reporting. You must be flexible and understand that your job duties may change from time to time and that you may be asked to "help out" in other areas of the office. Must demonstrate active listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Must demonstrate good reading comprehension
