Job Description
Job Overview Precious Smiles Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of dental office management, ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly while providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in managing dental and medical records, supervising staff, and providing administrative support within a dental environment. Duties Manage the overall operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Supervise and train administrative staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth. Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and insurance verification processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Maintain organized medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction. Coordinate with dental providers to ensure optimal patient care and communication regarding treatment plans. Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing patient information and practice management tasks. Monitor compliance with managed care regulations and critical care protocols as necessary. Requirements At least 3 years of experience as an office manager in a private dental clinic setting Strong knowledge of dental and medical records management and administrative support functions. Experience with Dentrix is highly desirable. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Knowledge of managed care practices is a plus.
