Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a real difference serving students across various age groups at schools near Tampa, FL, through a rewarding contract opportunity in Speech-Language Pathology. This position offers the chance to impact young lives, working across different campuses within a vibrant and supportive school community, while collaborating with passionate professionals who value student success. This contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and offers full-time hours in a dynamic educational setting. You'll provide vital speech and language services to diverse caseloads, tailoring interventions to individual needs. On-site presence is preferred, allowing for meaningful engagement with students, educators, and families.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Florida SLP license required Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not mandatory Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage varied caseloads and age ranges Willingness to work at multiple schools as assigned Must provide zip code information for commute assessment Completion of pre-screen or internal eligibility interview may be required
Role Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families Maintain detailed and accurate student documentation Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary discussions Provide engaging therapy sessions in both one-on-one and group settings Experience the satisfaction of guiding students toward their communication goals in a supportive and passionate environment.
