We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy medical practice. The Practice Manager will serve as the on-site leader , working closely with providers, front-office and clinical teams, and the Operations Manager to ensure the practice runs efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities Practice Operations & Patient Flow Oversee daily practice operations, staffing, patient flow, and office readiness. Monitor schedules, wait times, staffing coverage, and workflow issues. Resolve operational challenges quickly and escalate larger concerns appropriately. Ensure the practice environment is organized, professional, clean, and well stocked. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and support front-office and clinical team members. Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, productivity, and professionalism. Address performance concerns promptly and provide ongoing feedback and training. Support onboarding and foster a positive, accountable team culture. Patient Experience Ensure patients receive a welcoming, professional experience from check-in through check-out. Handle patient concerns and complaints with professionalism and good judgment. Monitor phone communication, customer service, and overall patient satisfaction. Front & Back Office Oversight Ensure efficient check-in/check-out, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, collections, and administrative follow-up. Partner with clinical leadership to support appropriate staffing, room turnover, clinical workflows, and provider needs. Promote strong communication between front-office, clinical staff, and providers. Financial & Operational Performance Monitor collections, outstanding balances, schedule utilization, cancellations, no-shows, and other key performance indicators. Identify missed opportunities and recurring issues and take action to improve performance. Monitor supplies, inventory, vendors, equipment, and facility needs. Policies & Compliance Ensure employees follow company policies, SOPs, HIPAA, OSHA, safety, privacy, and other applicable requirements. Help implement new processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Qualifications Previous medical practice, healthcare operations, or practice management experience preferred. Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of medical office workflows and patient service. Proven ability to lead teams and hold employees accountable. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with performance metrics and EMR/practice management systems.
