Front Desk Manager The Smile Mission is seeking an experienced, highly organized Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy, high-volume dental clinic. This position is ideal for an internationally trained dentist who understands clinical dentistry but is interested in building a career in dental operations and management. We provide training in Miami so the individual would need to be able to travel to Miami for several weeks for training (transport and accomodations provided). Responsibilities Oversee the clinic's daily operations and patient flow Coordinate dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and administrative employees Help ensure patients receive efficient, professional and compassionate service Monitor scheduling, treatment coordination and case acceptance Identify operational problems and implement practical solutions Maintain appropriate staffing levels and assist with hiring and training Monitor clinic performance, productivity and patient-service goals Ensure supplies, equipment and laboratory cases are properly coordinated Help maintain compliance with company policies, OSHA, HIPAA and applicable regulations Communicate regularly with regional leadership and support departments Address patient concerns professionally and help resolve service issues Support the opening, development and growth of the clinic Preferred Qualifications Dental degree or professional dental education from another country strongly preferred Previous experience working as a dentist, dental manager or dental-clinic supervisor Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures and clinical workflow Excellent leadership, organization and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong interpersonal and patient-service skills Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive workplace Proficiency with computers and dental practice-management systems Bilingual English and Spanish is helpful but not required Legally authorized to work in the United States About The Smile Mission The Smile Mission is a rapidly growing dental organization dedicated to making high-quality dental care accessible and affordable.
