Inventory & Purchasing Manager Woodstock Veterinary Hospital Woodstock, GA Join Our Team! Woodstock Veterinary Hospital is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory management for our busy, growing veterinary hospital. If you enjoy organization, problem-solving, working with numbers, and ensuring everything is exactly where it should be, this position is for you. You'll play a critical role in supporting our doctors and medical team by making sure they have the medications, supplies, and equipment needed to provide exceptional patient care every day. What You'll Do As our Inventory Manager, you'll be responsible for: Managing hospital inventory levels and purchasing Ordering medications, medical supplies, and prescription diets Maintaining controlled substance compliance and documentation Managing our Cubex inventory system Monitoring inventory budgets and vendor pricing Receiving and verifying deliveries Reconciling inventory counts and identifying discrepancies Managing product returns and credits Maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Working closely with doctors and staff to anticipate inventory needs Building strong relationships with vendors and distributor representatives Assisting with cost-control initiatives and inventory optimization
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
✔ Exceptionally organized ✔ Detail-oriented and accurate ✔ Self-motivated and able to work independently ✔ Comfortable using Excel and computer software ✔ Strong at multitasking and prioritizing ✔ Professional when communicating with vendors and coworkers ✔ Able to lift and organize boxes and inventory ✔ Interested in improving processes and finding efficiencies Veterinary experience is preferred, but candidates with inventory management, purchasing experience are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications Inventory management experience Veterinary or medical office experience preferred Experience with Microsoft Excel Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidential and controlled substance records Why Woodstock Veterinary Hospital?
