Responsibilities Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling, and staff coordination to ensure smooth workflow. Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing, coding, and medical billing processes to optimize revenue cycle management. Oversee human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development within the dental practice. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), and state/federal health policies. Utilize dental-specific EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines. Foster excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. Requirements Proven experience in dental office management with a solid understanding of medical office operations. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential. Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, health policy standards, and medical records management. Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes. Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service excellence to lead staff effectively and engage patients positively. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite for administrative support tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and correspondence.
