at Tractor Supply Company in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Mobile Veterinary Supervisor - VIP Petcare Overall Job Summary This is a dynamic, hands-on role perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to grow in a leadership capacity while working directly with animals and the public. This position will report to the VIP Petcare team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Oversee non-medical aspects of mobile clinic operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and organized clinic experience. o Accurately document pet health information, services provided, and behavioral notes in our clinic systems. o Support the pet parent journey-review discharge instructions, handle payments, and label and dispense medications. o Safely restrain pets during routine wellness services such as vaccinations, microchipping, and nail trims. o Share responsibility for driving the mobile clinic van, including setup and breakdown at each location. o Keep the clinic clean and compliant by disinfecting surfaces and equipment after each patient. o Serve as a mentor and leader to Veterinary Clinic Assistants by providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. o Educate pet parents on the benefits of preventive care and recommend services and products based on their pets' needs. o Track and manage inventory levels, vaccine expiration dates, and restocking of products and supplies. o Ensure adherence to safety protocols and represent PetIQ's mission and values with professionalism. o Actively participate in scheduled leadership check-ins to support ongoing training and development. o Help achieve performance goals related to clinic productivity, product recommendations, and customer satisfaction. o Oversee clinic flow and team coordination in the field. o Provide real-time support and mentorship to team members. o Participate directly in clinic setup, pet handling, and customer interactions. o Maintain consistent standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
Required Qualifications Experience:
Previous leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in veterinary, retail, or mobile service environments. Customer service or sales experience, especially in fast-paced settings.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications:
