Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dental Assistant with expanded function and sealant certificates to join and manage our vibrant dental team at the CPS schools. In this role, you will oversee equipment and clinical operations, support dentists during procedures, and lead the expanded functions team to deliver exceptional patient care. Your energetic approach and leadership skills will ensure smooth clinic workflows, uphold infection control standards, and enhance patient experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while making a positive impact on CPS students. Experience with CPS Oral Health program

Duties Assist the team with clinical procedures, ensuring efficiency and comfort for patients Manage and supervise the expanded functions team, providing training on dental assisting techniques and infection prevention management Oversee dental sterilization procedures, ensuring compliance with aseptic technique and infection control policies Maintaining safety and sterilization records Ensure clinical confidentiality policies are strictly followed in handling medical records and patient information Support patient care by explaining procedures, and managing patient flow during the school day Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting within a general or pediatric dentistry setting, with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Demonstrated expertise in expanded functions management Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare infection prevention protocols Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and aseptic technique in a clinical environment Excellent communication skills with school staff; capable of managing patient inquiries professionally and efficiently Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-tier dental care!
