Job description: Immediate Opening for a Functional Medicine Medical Office Manager Immediate opening for a office manager who oversees daily operations of a functional medicine practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly for both staff and patients. Responsibilities include managing daily work flow for the provider(s), scheduling appointments, handling patient records, overseeing billing and insurance processes, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Excellent communication and strong organizational skills to assist the provider(s), patients, and owners is a must. Exciting career opportunity for a highly organized, high energy and patient-centric individual in the Peoria, IL, area. •Spanish fluency is also highly desired!!•Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) Ensures that all patients receive the services that they need. Ensures that no patient falls through the cracks. Ensures that all patients have firm financial arrangements in order that the office is paid for the services provided. Ensures that the patient is able to get to treatment as quickly as possible. Ensures that all patient communication is well documented. Communicates well with the provider, owners, and team. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to build a rapport with patients and referring providers, walk patients through the treatment process step-by-step to answer any questions that they may have, secure financial arrangements however needed for each individual patient need, and maintain exemplary record keeping skills for efficiency and success! Your positive teamwork will also be responsible for ensuring smooth patient flow resulting in a positive patient experience that invites patient and physician referrals. This exciting position may also include participating in presentations to help educate the public.
