Our specialization allows us to have more fluid play groups and gives us a better understanding of each dog's specific needs.

Kennel Manager Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Kennel Manager to oversee our daily facility operations. You will lead our animal care team, maintain the highest standards of animal welfare, and ensure a clean, safe environment for all pets in our care.

Key Responsibilities Staff Leadership:

Hire, train, and manage kennel technicians, setting work schedules and monitoring performance.

Animal Care & Health:

Monitor the physical and behavioral health of all animals, administer medications as needed, and coordinate with local veterinarians for medical needs.

Facility Maintenance:

Ensure strict daily cleaning and sanitation protocols for all areas, cages, and common areas.

Client Relations:

Act as the main point of contact for pet owners, providing updates and resolving any concerns.

Inventory & Admin:

Manage supplies including food, medications, and cleaning products, and oversee daily record-keeping.

Qualifications Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on animal care experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.

Skills:

Strong understanding of animal behavior, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Availability:

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions:

We are looking for a full-time employee. Schedule to be determined.
