Must have 5 years experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee patient scheduling, billing, and administrative support, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and a well-organized workflow for the dental team. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and practice policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your healthcare management expertise, supervisory skills, and proficiency with dental office software to make a positive impact on our practice's success. Duties Manage daily front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and patient management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, EMR/EHR systems. Supervise front office staff, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient workflow. Oversee billing processes, medical records management, and medical administrative support while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and health regulation policies. Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and ensure accurate documentation of medical records and dental charts. Handle financial management tasks including budgeting, billing, collections, and managing practice financial reports. Maintain knowledge of healthcare practice management standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and utilization management protocols. Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations related to managed care, HIPAA compliance, medical billing standards, and safety protocols. Facilitate effective communication between patients, staff, insurance providers, and external vendors to promote a positive practice environment. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice administration within a dental or medical setting. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a healthcare environment. Proficiency in dental office managementDentrix; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Medisoft is preferred. Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical billing procedures, and patient records management. Experience in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing accounts receivable/payable. Exceptional managerial communication skills coupled with outstanding customer service abilities. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks. Prior clinic or hospital experience is highly desirable; acute care or managed care experience will be considered an asset.
