Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to oversee daily operations, support our providers and staff, and ensure our practice runs smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly. We are a private rheumatology practice with an on-site infusion suite dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care. Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations, in-house pharmacy dispensing, and the infusion suite. Supervise and support administrative and clinical staff, including front desk, medical assistants, virtual assistants, and infusion nurses. Lead human resources functions, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, terminations, time keeping, payroll, paid time off. Coordinate physician schedules, staff assignments, and patient flow for optimal efficiency and productivity. Oversee financial performance and all billing operations, including budgeting, billing accuracy, revenue tracking, patient eligibility, and authorizations. Develop and maintain office policies, procedures, and workflows that ensure compliance and efficiency. Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, expense tracking, and revenue cycle management. Collaborate with billing and insurance teams to resolve claims, denials, and prior authorizations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and other healthcare regulations. Oversee medication inventory, infusion suite operations, and vendor relationships. Foster a positive team culture focused on communication, accountability, and patient-centered service. Address patient concerns and operational issues promptly and professionally. Performs other related duties as directed or required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in medical office management (rheumatology, specialty or infusion experience strongly preferred). Fluent in both English and Spanish a plus but not required. Strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance processes, and EMR systems. Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills Hands-on management style Proficiency in practice management software (NextGen

a plus) Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Extensive medical billing knowledge in charge entry, prior authorizations (including biologic drugs) and A/R follow-up

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
