Job Description

Practice Manager - Pediatric Dental Office Are you an organized, motivated leader who enjoys wearing multiple hats and helping a growing business thrive? Our fun and fast-paced pediatric dental office is looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to join our team and play a key role in our continued growth and success. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, team development, and community engagement while also being willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and improve daily office workflow and operations Step into front office or clinical support roles when needed to keep the office running smoothly Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and state/federal health policies Support marketing initiatives and practice growth strategies Lead human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to foster a motivated team environment Coordinate and organize community outreach events and activities Help with planning and executing expansion and growth initiatives Serve as a leader, mentor, and role model for the team Supervise and support staff including dental assistants, hygienists, front desk personnel, and administrative support teams Implement and monitor clinic policies related to medical billing, managed care, utilization management, and medical administrative support
Requirements:
Proven experience managing a dental or healthcare office with strong supervisory skills Extensive knowledge of medical office management systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or eClinicalWorks Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), medical billing software, and patient management tools Strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA regulations and health policy guidelines Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with customer service excellence Prior experience supervising healthcare staff in a clinical setting with acute care or hospital experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records handling, and healthcare practice policies is essential What we are looking for? Pay:
$35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
