The compensation range noted above represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient-centered care.# Our Orthopedic Sports Medicine Practice is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of the department and coordinate all administrative functions for the orthopedic office. Responsibilities include patient scheduling and registration, billing, customer service, and providing general administrative support to physicians. The overview of responsibilities includes but is not limited to: Oversee daily administrative and clinical operations to ensure efficient department performance and compliance with Medical Center policies and budget guidelines. Manage departmental staffing, including schedules, payroll records, onboarding, training, performance development, and credentialing. Participate in management meetings, staff meetings, in-service, and other departmental activities while communicating operational issues and supporting organizational goals. Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to calls, addressing patient questions, assisting with patient needs, and communicating delays or scheduling changes. Maintain accurate patient records, charts, physician orders, referrals, recall systems, and other required documentation. Support accurate billing processes, including charge entry, payment collection, deposits, and coordination with insurance payors. Schedule patient appointments, diagnostic services, physician activities, meetings, and operating room time while maintaining accurate calendars and records. Coordinate patient check-in and check-out, including registration, demographic and insurance verification, referrals, payments, and follow-up scheduling. Provide professional, compassionate leadership by fostering open communication, teamwork, mutual trust, and respect among staff. Maintain adequate clinical and office supplies, monitor inventory, and support effective budget management
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor#s degree required
Experience:
#Minimum of#3-5 years#of supervisory/management experience in healthcare. #A broad knowledge of physician practice management and budget management. Experience working with third party payers and working knowledge of#billing processes. Special Aptitudes #
Activities:
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, computer, typing, transcription, and filing skills, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions, manage multiple tasks effectively, and maintain accurate and organized work.
