  • 3:00pm Town of Amherst Van Driver Senior Services Department The Town of Amherst seeks a part-time Van Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation to adults aged 60 and older, as well as individuals with disabilities.
The Van Driver will receive a daily schedule of pre-booked rides and may also respond to requests for same-day transportation. This is a part-time, non-benefited positions. Hours of operation are Tuesdays 8:00 am
  • 4:00 pm, Wednesdays 8:30 am
  • 1:00 pm, and Thursdays 8:30 am
  • 3:00 pm.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Massachusetts Class D Driver?s License
  • Experience safely operating passenger vans and/or wheelchair-accessible vehicles; Ability to operate passenger vans and wheelchair-accessible vehicles safely and effectively
  • Ability to pass motor vehicle driver record check
  • Willingness to complete required trainings (e.g., safety driving, wheelchair securement, alcohol & drug awareness, CPR) Excellent customer service skills; Patience and dependability The anticipated hiring range of \$15.10

50 per hour depending on experience.
